Welcome to my new blog site.
On this blog, I will keep all of you updated as to what I will be doing in the field of magic and escape artistry.
Currently, I am in negotiations with three casinos in Las Vegas; the Luxor, Mandalay Bay and the Excalibur to host my show, American Escape Artist. At the same time, I am also in negotiations for a three series deal with the Learning Channel to host a reality show based on my abilities as an Escape Artist. For those of you who have seen my network special on Channel Four in Great Britain or my spots on the BBC, PAX television and Channel Five, it will be more of the same type of stylistic quality.
My column, Escape Velocity continues its bi-monthly run in the United Kingdom's Magic Circular, house organ of the famed Magic Circle.
Please feel free to leave your comments.
Many thanks----

Thomas!!!!
I have followed your career for many years, can wait to see you performing again. I think you are an incredible escape artist, and definately very original.
I just caught your TV show (Channel Four UK) tonight - and I enjoyed watching your skill and polite, well-dressed manner -- all of which is a rare thing these days! None of the usual inappropriate heavy metal, bizarre wobby handheld cameras and fast editing -- and no patronising either! You pitched it well, struck the right tone and did great -- even in the "dungeon" LOL!
One thing though, you stated that you reckoned that the reason people liked escapology is that it is a metaphor for life, and the possibility of gaining freedom in a general sense ('scuse the paraphrasing)... but I think that's too clever, and that the reason is that we identify with the superhero-like emprowerment -- we can all but imagine what it must feel like to never have the threat of restraint, to never be "tied down". IMHO it's tapping into the same psychology as The Shawshank Redemption, Escape from Alcatraz (etc) -- and even Bond films. There's something deeply rooted in the fear of being trapped or locked up. Personally, I don't see what you do in terms of my escaping the 9 to 5 or anything like that, but rather like the feeling when as a kid with a comic book, you wished you had x-ray specs or the ability to climb a wall like spiderman!
Dave:
Thanks for the comments--I am currently working on a new television show to aire on CH4 (UK) in the near future--lots more escapes, including some never before seen.
